Truelove is a six-part British drama series that delves into the complexities of assisted dying. The story follows Phil (Lindsay Duncan), a retired senior police officer, and Ken (Clarke Peters), a former SAS veteran, who reunite at a friend's funeral and form a pact to help each other end their lives on their own terms when the time comes. As they navigate this agreement, the series examines themes of autonomy, friendship, and the moral questions surrounding end-of-life decisions. The ensemble cast includes Sue Johnston, Phil Davis, Peter Egan, and Karl Johnson, with direction by Chloë Wicks and Carl Tibbetts. Created by Iain Weatherby and Charlie Covell, Truelove premiered on Channel 4 in January 2024 .
